Last year, we provided over 2,000 backpacks with blankets, warm hats, scarves, gloves, warm socks, toiletry items, snacks, and more to the MHMR Homeless clinic off Lancaster in Fort Worth and donated to individuals that were homeless or near homelessness. The MHMR clinic serves a population in very high need for these items that were included in the backpacks.
Our community, the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce, the Colleyville Connection, friends, family members, and clients have been working together to make this happen. This is our 8th year in a row providing filled backpacks to be donated and distributed by MHMR.
